Hi I'm Sarah-Jane Grace, and I'm an artist, based in Bristol. I grew up on the North Norfolk coast and love the coastal areas. Much of my inspiration for my paintings comes from the Norfolk, Devon and Cornwall coast - from how light reflects on the sea to how the waves change the colour and texture of the water. My preferred media is acrylics on canvas. I love the depth and textured effect which it can create along with the smoother finish of water colour paints. From these original paintings, I have created a range of limited edition Giclee prints. I have also been lucky enough to be involved in three charity projects - 'the Lions of Bath', 'Wow! Gorillas' and the 'Swans of Wells' which involved painting large animal sculptures which were displayed on the streets of Bath, Bristol and Wells respectively and then auctioned for charity.
